어느덧 루터와의 인연이 시작된지
5개월이 되어가네요.
과거에는 아이들을 가르치는 데 있어
제 자신이 조금 부족하다고 생각했지만,
루터 잉글리쉬에서 아이들을 만나며
자신감을 가질 수 있었습니다.
저는 지속적인 영어 공부와
해외 유학으로 영어를 계속
사용함으로써 스스로
많이 성장할 수 있었습니다.
제게 매우 특별했던 경험은
사이판에서 글로벌 캠프
인솔교사를 했던 것이었습니다.
이 경험으로 제가 느낀 것은,
언어는 직접 사용 할수록 실력이 늘고,
그런 환경을 만드는 것이
중요하다는 것입니다.
국내의 기존 교육은 그런 점이
부족하다고 생각했는데,
루터 잉글리쉬는 아이들과 직접
교감하면서 편안하게 영어를
말할 수 있도록 하는 것이
큰 장점이라고 느꼈습니다.
저 또한 아이들과 가까워지면서
아이들의 실력 향상을 도우며
성취감을 느낄 수 있었고,
아이들이 영어에 대한 거부감이
사라지는 것 같아 좋았습니다.
앞으로도 항상 즐겁게 수업하며
아이들의 성장을 돕는 강사가
되도록 노력하겠습니다.
